CES is providing mechanical and electrical engineering design services to support a new, multidisciplinary simulation center at Springfield Technical Community College’s School of Health + Patient Simulation. The center serves a broad range of healthcare programs, including nursing, health sciences, and medical assisting, as well as additional allied health disciplines.

System design includes reuse and reconfiguration of existing central HVAC systems, new ductwork distribution, radiant heating systems, upgraded electrical distribution, lighting, emergency systems, and integration with the building’s existing fire alarm infrastructure.

The renovated facility will also include a forward-facing clinical environment, requiring careful coordination of building systems to meet instructional, clinical, and code requirements. The project will deliver a flexible, modern simulation facility designed to support hands-on training, interdisciplinary education, and workforce development in the healthcare field.
