This unique modern vacation home is built into a hill causing the home to span above and below grade. CES was challenged to design mechanical equipment with zero roof penetration visible from the road or driveway. Our engineering team designed a custom bunker underneath the driveway to hide equipment from plain sight.
The house features an indoor lap pool, outdoor pool, sauna, wine cellar and tasting room, movie theater, gym and locker room, music room, library and four car garage. Individual temperature controls are in each space of the home.
The home includes a geothermal heating and cooling system of approximately 40 tons. There is radiant flooring throughout the concrete structure with the hydronic flooring, indoor pool, central heating and cooling being fed through the geothermal system.
