Following the completion of a study, the Town of Shrewsbury proceeded with the design of a new 42,000 SF police station and campus-wide modifications to the Town Hall and Senior Center. CES provided MEP/FP/IT system design for the municipal campus.
The new police station was the first component of the project. It was designed with flexibility in mind to support the department’s evolving needs over the next 50+ years.
The facility features advanced training capabilities, including IACP-accredited instruction, defensive tactics, firearms training, and de-escalation simulation. The Town prioritized sustainability by adhering to LEED Silver guidelines and aiming to reduce the building’s overall energy consumption.
