An Olympic size pool that seemingly spills into the ocean is just one of many special features of this newly constructed waterfront villa. Mechanical systems include a 40-ton chiller and three Buderus boilers, one boiler exclusively serving the snow melt system. Power systems are safeguarded by a 100 kw emergency generator. Building system controls are programmed for timed lighting, heating and cooling cycles, and reducing energy usage.
Although not registered with USGBC, this project earned potential LEED – H Pilot Program points in several areas.
