CES collaborated closely with a local general contractor to conceive and construct this cutting-edge, energy-efficient office building in the heart of Austin. Situated within a walkable and bike-friendly distance from downtown, this two-story structure, adorned with sleek metal cladding, offers flexible accommodations for one or two businesses. The design encompasses private offices, conference rooms, reception area, spacious breakrooms, and expansive open office spaces. Distinguishing itself with luxurious finishes and state-of-the-art Energy Star-rated equipment, this complex is a testament to sustainable design. Notable features include a tankless gas water heater with recirculating pump and variable-speed heat pumps, a remarkably efficient HVAC
solution. The building’s efficiency was put to test during an unprecedented heatwave in June. Even with thermostats set to run 24/7 at a cool 68 degrees, the building incurred a remarkably modest $197 electric bill, a testament to its exceptional energy efficiency.
