As part of Oakland Park’s ambitious 10-year “Building Our Second Century” facilities program, CES provides MEP/FP engineering design services for the new Department of Public Works (DPW) Complex, a major investment in the City’s long-term infrastructure.

The approximately 48,000 SF facility brings together multiple critical operations under one roof, including Public Works administration, water and wastewater services, streets and stormwater, fleet maintenance, and materials storage, along with a dedicated Emergency Operations Center (EOC). The project improves operational efficiency, strengthens service delivery, replaces outdated facilities, and advances the City’s broader initiative to modernize municipal services.

The design supports resilience and ensures continuity of operations, strengthening the City’s emergency preparedness. The project also enables the transformation of the former Public Works site into expanded public park space. As a cornerstone of Oakland Park’s capital improvement program, the DPW Complex drives the City’s vision for high-performance, future-ready civic infrastructure.
