CES provided full MEP/FP, IT, Security, Technology, and Data design services for a 6,000 SF renovation and 6,000 SF addition to an existing healthcare facility, creating a dedicated space for women’s oncology diagnosis and treatment. CES also supported the integration of a new CT scanner and linear accelerator (linac) machine, which required advanced HVAC and electrical infrastructure to ensure safe and effective operation.

The project included diagnostic imaging spaces, infusion bays, and specialized treatment areas. While the linac systems were newly introduced, the remainder of the building systems expanded upon the existing infrastructure. Energy recovery was incorporated into the HVAC design to promote sustainability and improve operational efficiency.

Working within an occupied hospital presented challenges that were addressed through carefully phased construction and strategic HVAC planning to maintain patient and staff safety. The project was completed on schedule and within budget, with no disruptions to hospital operations.
