This Net Zero ready, energy efficient vacation home sits atop a hill overlooking a golf and ranch club. The house integrates inside and outside areas through multiple indoor/outdoor rooms with mesh screens, opening walls, bifold, and pivot doors. Light wells flood the interior with sunlight through shaped skylights and roof oculus openings. The master bathroom incorporates an outdoor garden. Multiple water features include pool, hot tub, cold plunge, reflecting pools, and waterfall edges.
This house follows High Performance Building Design guidelines and energy modeling based on the Austin Energy Green Building Rating System (AEGB).
Sustainable elements include:
