CES is providing full MEP/FP engineering services for the Town of West Hartford’s transformative new Elmwood Community Center. This 82,000 SF facility will fuse together a public library, senior center, teen center, preschool, gymnasium, and vibrant community gathering spaces—all under one innovative roof.
Sited on the former St. Brigid School property and seamlessly connecting to Beachland Park, the center is designed as a true civic hub that brings residents of all ages together in a space that promotes connection, learning, wellness, and recreation.
With flexible, energy-efficient HVAC systems and thoughtfully integrated electrical, plumbing, and fire protection solutions, our engineering design supports the building’s diverse functions while enhancing comfort, accessibility, and long-term performance.
Once complete, this dynamic facility is set to become a regional model for community-centered design.
