The town of Cromwell hoped to build a new construction middle school to replace an aged facility. Our team helped bring Cromwell’s vision to life by designing smart, efficient systems that meet the school’s needs today with sight set on the future.
The building features all-LED lighting, VRF with Dx dedicated outdoor air and energy recovery heating and cooling designed for comfort and energy savings, backup boilers and generator to keep things running during winter power outages. Infrastructure for solar panels was incorporated into roof designs for the future addition of renewable energy.
Working within a tight budget was the biggest challenge, but we made sure every system was the right fit—efficient, reliable, and cost-effective. CES delivered an MEP solution that balances performance with value, giving the district a new school that’s not only modern and functional, but also built with long-term savings and sustainability in mind.
