Cromwell Public Schools set out to build a brand-new middle school to replace their aging facility that will serve students for generations to come. Our team helped bring that vision to life by designing smart, efficient systems that meet the school’s needs today while keeping an eye on the future.

The building features all-LED lighting, a heating and cooling system designed for comfort and energy savings, and backup boilers and a generator to keep things running during winter power outages. We also planned ahead by including infrastructure for solar panels on the roof, making it easier to add renewable energy down the road.

Working within a tight budget was the biggest challenge, but we made sure every system was the right fit—efficient, reliable, and cost-effective. By collaborating closely with the architect and design team, we delivered a solution that balances performance with value, giving the district a new school that’s not only modern and functional, but also built with long-term savings and sustainability in mind.
