CES was selected to provide full building MEP/FP commissioning services for the construction of the new Charter Oak International Academy which will accommodate 560 students and will be constructed adjacent to the existing occupied elementary school.
The project has a goal of LEED Gold certification; this certification will be earned through the inclusion of several energy efficient and sustainable measures including 100kW photovoltaic array and geothermal HVAC. After completion of the design by the design team, CES will commission the mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) and envelope systems to ensure they are installed and operate in accordance with the owner’s requirements which will, at the end of the process, provide the owner with a reliable, energy efficient system.
