Beazley Insurance relocated its offices to West Hartford Center. Nestled in the heart of Blue Back Square, it sits among handsome sidewalks, busy shops and quality restaurants. The inviting space promotes socializing and cultivates relationships among their staff and clients alike.
CES provided MEP/FP engineering services for the renovation of an existing building to accommodate the international insurance company’s Connecticut home. We designed rooftop units, new variable air volume (VAV) boxes, and decorative LED lighting, including color-changing fixtures for the main entrance. Plumbing fixtures feature leak detection and automatic shutoff, and fire protection coverage is provided throughout the building.
The space features private spaces for small groups to gather, soundproof booths (practically the modern version of an old fashioned phone booth) for private conversations, open workspaces, and a kitchen with booths to accommodate working lunch groups.
During breaks, employees can enjoy a lounge area with giant Scrabble game, pool table, library and terrace.
