Amant Gallery

Amant is an arts campus spread across three blocks of an up-and-coming industrial area in Bushwick. The buildings are both private and public and include artist studios, galleries, offices, storage space, and a cafe. CES is providing full MEP services for one of the buildings which holds a performance space and accompanying support areas. The unique structure consists of ground-up concrete poured boxes. Mechanicals include gas fired, rooftop mounted air conditioning units to provide heating and cooling. LED lighting is throughout with highly customized controls to accommodate the performance space.

The building’s performance space needed to be able to handle a wide range of art installations from gallery viewing to off Broadway plays. CES worked closely with the users to provide a powerful but flexible HVAC design solution for the multifunctional space.
