This 77,000-square-foot affordable senior housing development is designed to provide a comfortable, sustainable, and community-oriented living environment. Program highlights include a welcoming community room, a landscaped roof terrace, and a fully electric building infrastructure that supports modern amenities while reducing the building’s environmental footprint.
CES provided comprehensive MEP/FP, IT, and Security design services to bring the project’s vision to life. The residential units are served by Vertical Terminal Heat Pumps (VTHP) for efficient heating and cooling, while amenity spaces are conditioned with a Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV) system paired with energy recovery ventilation (ERV) to optimize comfort and performance. The building features LED lighting throughout, a backup generator, and four electric vehicle charging stations.
Looking to the future, infrastructure is in place for a rooftop solar PV array to further support the project’s sustainability goals. The design also incorporates natural ventilation strategies, energy recovery systems, and provisions for future technology upgrades — ensuring the building remains adaptable, efficient, and welcoming for generations to come.
