CES is providing MEP/FP, IT, and security design services for the phased expansion and renovation of the Rectory School’s Athletic Center, part of its private elementary school campus. The project includes a new 10,000 SF gymnasium addition, featuring a wrestling room and propane-fired rooftop units for heating and ventilation. Phase 1 focuses on constructing the new gym, while Phase 2 involves renovating the school’s front entrance and lobby to create a welcoming space with updated trophy and display cases.
System upgrades include high-efficiency LED lighting, energy recovery systems, and provisions for natural ventilation to support sustainability goals. The integration of new systems with the existing infrastructure presents unique challenges, requiring close coordination across disciplines. Our team’s responsiveness and flexibility prove essential in accommodating multiple design revisions and providing additional services as the project evolves. The result will be a modern, functional athletic facility that supports the school’s programming while enhancing the overall campus experience.
