CES provided full MEP/FP engineering design services for the 87,000 SF, three-story addition to Northern Dutchess Hospital—an expansion roughly the size of one-and-a-half football fields. Known as the Martin and Toni Sosnoff Pavilion, the new facility significantly enhances the hospital’s emergency and elective surgery services while elevating the overall patient and visitor experience.

The expansion includes 40 private inpatient rooms, each equipped with a full bathroom and shower, and 15 private pre-op and recovery bays to support surgical care. Designed with both patients and families in mind, the pavilion also features new lounges and amenities to promote comfort and healing, along with 24/7 visiting hours that reflect the hospital’s commitment to holistic, family-centered care.

State-of-the-art medical technology and high-efficiency systems are integrated throughout the new facility to support both patient wellness and operational performance. From advanced climate control to energy-efficient infrastructure, the building supports a high standard of care in a modern, healing environment.
