A new three-story firehouse replaced the former outdated Charles A. Volk Fire Station, built in 1963. The headquarters features vehicle maintenance space, a firefighter training area, exercise space, a modern kitchen, bathrooms, bunk rooms, showers, offices, and an Emergency Operations Center. CES commissioned the building automation system, chilled water pumps, emergency generator and ATS, energy recovery ventilation, fans, fire alarm, sprinkler, hot water heating, lighting, make-up air unit, rooftop units, split AC units, hot water unit heaters, VRF system and domestic hot water heater.
