New Offices + Promotions Announcement

Middletown CT – Consulting Engineering Services, a multi-disciplined engineering firm established in 1994, announced seven employee promotions and two new office locations.

Eric Romeo, a 12-year veteran at CES, has secured a well-deserved promotion to Associate & Shareholder. Due to his amiable personality, highly detailed nature and organizational skills, Eric has played an influential role in several educational projects including the Barack Obama School, Westfield State University, Martin Luther King School, Groton Middle School, and Coburn Elementary School.

With a consistent focus on minimizing long-term energy consumption in all his electrical engineering designs, Mike Raffo has been promoted to Team Leader. In addition to his extensive residential portfolio, Mike has completed projects for recreational and retail establishments in New York City including the City Squash, the Lisson Gallery, Urban Planet, Knickerbocker Club, and Corso Como.

After 18 years responding to RFPs within the AEC industry, three of them at CES, Robyn Minella has accepted advancement to Proposal Manager. Robyn is our point person for all proposal communications. She brings an optimistic, can-do attitude to the hectic, deadline-driven proposal world that serves all six of our offices.

Brad Park loves the challenge of thinking on his feet, and with this promotion to Project Manager, he will have all the more opportunity to do just that. With eight years’ experience in AEC and two years at our Middletown headquarters, Brad has been an integral part of our commercial team. He is in the midst of multiple municipal projects including the Oaks Bluffs Town Hall, Lexington Police & Fire, and the Charlton Public Safety Building.

Just shy of seven years at CES, Brian Hamel has been promoted to Project Manager. Continuously striving for a net zero world, Brian’s easy-going disposition and sense of humor makes working alongside him a coveted spot in our Middletown headquarters. Brian’s recent projects include a variety of high-end residential projects, the Pawtucket RI Schools, New Canaan YMCA, and Shawsheen Valley Regional Technical High School.

After two years in our Norwood MA office, Vish Hariharaputran has relocated to open our new San Antonio TX location as Project Manager. Vish has been instrumental in securing countless new business relationships from the blank slate he started with.

Jim Kowalski, with 16 years at our CES Middletown office is now managing our newly opened Bozeman MT office. Although we admit that the mountains were calling our Geothermal prodigy, his departure has left a silent void at our CT headquarters where we await his jovial visits. Jim’s recent projects include a multitude of residential projects, The EC Scranton Memorial Library, Weekapaug Inn, Thomaston Opera House and The Richter House.
